Man's Hate was a solo music project of ex-APF Brigade, and one-time The Peace & Freedom Band member, Andi Xport. It was also the name of his privately produced cassette label, Man's Hate Productions.
Coming out of Peterborough, England, Man's Hate was "steam driven" power pop, with dynamic power chords, lively rhythms, and harmonic vocals. The compassionate lyrics were as important as the music, with animal welfare issues particularly well covered, such as on 'Men And Women On Horses With Dogs' and 'Porton Down Torture Down'. Man's Hate were also enhanced by a guest appearance by American drummer Fenner Castner on some tracks.
Andi also used his Man's Hate label to distribute International Sound Communication, a series of compilation cassettes.
Mp3 downloads of Man's Hate tracks are now available online on MySpace.
