Maqellarë (Macedonian: Макелара, Makelara or Маќелари, Makjelari) is a village and municipality in the Dibër District, Dibër County, northeastern Albania.[1]

Demographics[edit]

According to the early 20th century newspaper Debar voice, the village had 23 houses of the Bulgarian Exarchate and 25 Muslim houses.[2]

Maqellare is today inhabited by both Albanians and Macedonians.[3][4]
