El Mariposario (English: The Butterfly House) is a large outdoors vivarium which forms part of the Jardin Botánico del Quindío (Botanical Garden of Quindío), located in the town of Calarcá in the department of Quindío, Colombia. It contains more than 1200 species of butterflies native to Colombia, housed inside a butterfly-shaped structure of 640 m2.
The Botanical Gardens opened in 1985, and are open to the public from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs.
