[edit] Acting Roles
In January 1994 Shaw made his acting debut as 'Johnny' in the London production of Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom by Daniel Abineri.[1] Re-mounted as a five week limited showcase run at The Union Chapel in Islington London and directed by Daniel Abineri it also starred Craig Ferguson and featured Cornel John as Charlie Fortune, Anna Jacysaon as Mary, Eve Barker as Desire, Stephen Marcus as Pope Liberty, and Sandra Bee, Perry Benson, Louisa Casano, Mark Frost, Daniel Kyle and Louise Anne Wesley as the ensemble.[3] The production became a cause celebre and made front page news when an order of irate nuns, the London arm of Opus Dei, The Daily Telegraph theatre critic Charles Spencer and the Church Council of Great Britain complained that it was "offensive and blasphemous". After the intervention of the Church Council the production closed down after nine performances
In 2005 Shaw appeared in Reborn in the USA reality television series,[2] but abruptly quit the show after just one day of filming.[3] Shaw was interviewed by Channel 5 about his "brief-but-memorable" appearance on Reborn in the USA and the numerous reasons why he walked out of the show on their Most Shocking Talent Show Moments programme which aired in April 2011.
