Martha B. Alexander

Martha Bedell Alexander (born 30 August 1939) is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's one hundred sixth House district, including constituents in Mecklenburg county. A homemaker from Charlotte, North Carolina, Alexander is currently (2011-2012 session) serving in her tenth term in the state House.
Alexander was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She has a bachelors degree from Florida State University and a masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
