Martinsburg Mall

Martinsburg Mall is a regional shopping mall in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Completed in 1991, the mall contains more than 50 retailers, including Bon-Ton, JCPenney, and Walmart. Martinsburg Mall is a retail hub for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

Martinsburg Mall is at the center of Foxcroft Avenue in Martinsburg, with exits immediately to the north and south of the property off Interstate 81. Near the Maryland and Virginia borders, Martinsburg is the first location for the MARC Train Services to Washington, DC. Sears has closed as of Fall, 2011.

In 2010, Mountain State University purchased the Martinsburg Mall. The university will use existing vacant space inside the mall to create an integrated learning center.[1] Martinsburg Mall is managed by an outside management company, Jones Lang LaSalle.[2]

[edit] Mall walkers

Martinsburg Mall encourages mall walkers through a joint program between the Martinsburg Mall Walking Club and City Hospital called the “Healthy Start Mall Walking” program. Three times around the mall interior equals 2 miles.[3]
