Marysville Motorcycle Plant
Marysville Motorcycle Plant is a Honda manufacturing facility located approximately six miles northwest of Marysville, Ohio. The assembly plant opened in 1979 as Honda's first production facility in the United States on the original U.S. Route 33 (re-christened Honda Parkway) at the site of an abandoned Pure Oil gas station and "lubritorium" (long since razed) and the former rail crossing of the abandoned Erie Lackawanna Marion-Springfield spur before moving to the present day four lane highway located nearby.

Honda announced it would cease motorcycle production at the Marysville Motorcycle Plant in 2009 (source: BizJournals.com Article). All associates will be given the opportunity to relocate to a designated Honda of America site. The ceasing of operations will allow Honda to consolidate its motorcycle operations in Japan.
