Matchstick Productions is a freeskiing film production company.

Based in Crested Butte, Colorado, it was started in 1992 by Steve Winter in partnership with Murray Wais. [1] Matchstick Productions has released feature-length ski films every year since 1997, several of which have achieved critical acclaim. Matchstick productions' breakthrough film "Ski Movie" was released in 2000 and won best movie of the year from both Powder Magazine and Freeze Magazine. Owning the deepest and most diverse stock film library in action sports, MSP has the ability to license and create content to suit the needs of any commercial project. MSP’s diverse resume includes an illustrious variety of top clients, including RushHD, Nissan, Budweiser, MTV, Nike, Subaru, Roxy, and many others. MSP is available for production and consultation on a wide variety of shoots, including TV, film, commercials, music videos, and more.

Alongside Poor Boyz Productions and Teton Gravity Research, Matchstick is among the eminent production studios in skiing.
