Math the Band is an American electronic band formed in 2003 in Westford, Massachusetts by Kevin Steinhauser. Justine Mainville was added to the lineup in 2007. They've released many full-length albums and various EPs. The band has been going strong for 9 years, playing well over 500 shows throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom with bands such as Andrew W.K., Wheatus, mc chris, Polysics, Anamanaguchi and Peelander-Z. Math the Band has been featured in several notable magazines such as Venus Zine and Keyboard Magazine. They were also featured on NPR Music. Now based in Providence, Rhode Island, Math the Band are artists in residence at the non-profit, AS220.
