Matt Barr (born September 12, 1987) is an American football quarterback with the Western Illinois Leathernecks football team. During the 2010 season, Barr threw for 3,410 yards 27 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 13 games. He also ran for 675 yards and 7 touchdowns.[1] Following the season, Barr was named as one of the three finalists for the 2010 Walter Payton Award, given annually to the top player in NCAA Division I Football Championship Series (Division I-AA).[2]

Barr was born in Belvidere, Illinois and attended Belvidere High School. His major at Western Illinois is accounting.[3]
