Mazda L platform

The Mazda L platform is an automobile platform for minivans. It is the basis for the Mazda MPV family. The two generations of the L platform share almost nothing; each was based on a large Mazda sedan, but there is little continuity between them.

The LV is a rear wheel drive platform with an all wheel drive option. It is based on the HC platform used in the Mazda Luce.

The LW platform is front wheel drive. It is based on the GF platform used in the Mazda Capella.

The LY platform is front wheel drive. It is based on the GY platform used in the Mazda Atenza Sport Wagon.
