McAuley High School is a Catholic girls’ secondary school in Otahuhu, New Zealand. The school was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1962, and run by the order until the 1990s.[1]
In 2006 the principal stated in the school newsletter the police would continue to be involved in serious cases of text bullying at McAuley, after a student was sent to the police having received abusive text messages.[2]
