Meadowview, Sacramento, California

Meadowview is a neighborhood of Sacramento, California located in the "deep south" of the city. It is bordered by Florin Road to the north, the Watt/I-80–Downtown–Meadowview ("Blue Line") Light Rail Line to the east, an open field to the south, and State Route 160 on the west. The Meadowview area is also located near Interstate Highway 5 (I-5).
The Meadowview area is nearby Rosa Parks Elementary (formerly Goethe), Edward Kemble Elementary, Cesar Chavez, and Luther Burbank schools. Meadowview is also home to the Samuel C. Pannell Community Center, where there are many events such as Teen Unity (The Basement), Exercise Room, Computer Lab, etc.

Meadowview is known for its somewhat high crime rate. However, crime is common in many parts of the city and by no means limited to the Meadowview Neighborhood.[citation needed]
