Elle Milano was a three-piece alternative rock band based in Brighton, England. At the time of their split, they were signed to independent label Brighton Electric. The band is known for having a large catalog of songs, most of which are available online.
They made a number of radio appearances but the most notable being on national BBC Radio 1 with Steve Lamacq on 22 August 2005 and on digital BBC 6 Music on 1 July 2006, appearing on the Rocket Science show. More recently, the band performed with Bloc Party and Metric on Lamacq's 6 Music Live in the city in Reading, of which a number of live performances of the band were broadcast.
On 27 October 2008 the band split up, a month after having to cancel gigs that they were due to undertake with Hot Club de Paris, in late September and early October.
