Megalochori (Greek: Μεγαλοχώρι, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on) is a village located in the northwestern part of the Methana peninsula. It is located in a valley northwest of the volcanic summit. It is located W of Methana, E of Ligouri, NE of Kranidi, ENE of Ermioni, NW of Troizina and W of Poros.

Underneath the village is the ancient Acropolis of Methana which was described by Pausanias. The village in the mid to late 20th century was called Katoundi Imati which derived from Albanian which also meant big or large village or big or large town.
