Melrose Park station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station located along the SEPTA Main Line operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. It is located in at the intersection of Valley Road and Mill Road in the neighborhood of Melrose Park in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

In June 2005, SEPTA completed a $5,336,000 project to upgrade Melrose Park station, including the installation of high-level, fully handicap accessible, platforms.[2]
In FY 2005, Melrose Park station had a weekday average of 347 boardings and 323 alightings. [3]
[edit] Service
The station is primarily served by the R1 Airport, R2 Warminster and R5 Lansdale Regional Rail lines, and the R3 West Trenton also provides service to Melrose Park on weekends.[4]
In addition to Regional Rail trains, SEPTA bus route 28 also stops a block west of Melrose Park Station. [5]
