The 2006 Hockey World Cup for men is the 11th edition of the Hockey World Cup. It held from September 6 to September 17, 2006 in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
Germany won for second consecutive time after beating Australia 4–3 while Spain emerged as third place winner after defeating Korea.

The qualification round took place in Changzhou, China from April 12 to April 23, 2006. The final rankings in the tournament are as listed below, with qualifying teams emboldened.
