The municipal district and the municipality of Menidi (Greek: Μενίδι) is located by the Ambracian Gulf in the Aetolia-Acarnania prefecture in Northwestern Greece (southeast Europe). Its economy is based in tourism and agriculture. It was build in the 50's with an official government plan to house victims of the Greek civil war and other families who did not owned houses. Today is a popular destination for Greek and foreign tourists.

The municipality Menidi consists of the following municipal districts:
- Menidi (Menidi, Elaiochori, Theriakisi, Katsouli, Lagkada, Sykoula)
- Floriada (Floriada, Elaiofyto, Katharovouni, Kastriotissa, Palaia Floriada, Palaiokastro, Chrysopigi, Chrysorrachi)
