Meritech Capital Partners is a private equity firm focused on late stage venture capital investments in information technology companies with a focus on consumer Internet and media, software and services, enterprise infrastructure, and medical devices.

The Palo Alto, California-based firm, was founded in 1999 with sponsorship from Accel Partners, Oak Investment Partners, Redpoint Ventures and Worldview Technology Partners. Among Meritech's most notable investments are Cornerstone OnDemand,[1] Facebook,[2] Fortinet, and Salesforce.com. Other notable investments include Anaplan, 2Wire, Tableau Software, Sourcefire, Riverbed, Netezza, Netsuite, IntraLase, and Cloudera.
