Metrobus Transit is a public transportation system serving the area of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, operated by the St. John's Transportation Commission, an agency of the city of St. John's. The commission is overseen by a board consisting of six members from various areas of the community.
Established in 1958, Metrobus Transit operates 18 routes as of fall 2008. Routes travel around the metro St. John's area including Kilbride, Goulds, and Mount Pearl and service major destinations including the Avalon Mall, Village Shopping Centre, Memorial University Smallwood Centre, Confederation Building, College of the North Atlantic, Marine Institute, Mile One Centre, and downtown St. John's.
Fare may be paid in cash or using an RFID tag known as the "m-Card". Buses operate weekdays from 6:00am to 12:30am, Saturday 6:00am to 12:30am, and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:30pm; hours vary by route.
Metrobus drivers are unionized under ATU Local 1462.
