Mets Classics, also called UltiMET Classics is a program currently airing on SportsNet New York. It features New York Mets games which have been deemed 'classic' because of the actions or plays that took place during the game.
Background [edit]
All games aired on Mets Classics must be deemed classic by the network. These games may include victories from the World Series that the Mets have played in, (such as their dramatic win in 1986, the Bill Buckner error that allowed the 1986 World Series to go to seven games, the first Subway Series game in 1997, or Tom Glavine's 300th career victory).[1]
