Michael Alexander Williamson (born 26 June 1953) is an Australian unionist. He was elected as 2009-2010 National President for the Australian Labor Party.[1]
Williamson has been a member of the Health Services Union for over 30 years, and General Secretary for the past 10. He is also the National President.
Williamson is a Vice President and Finance Committee Member of Unions NSW, and member of the ACTU executive.
Williamson is Senior Vice President the New South Wales branch of the Australian Labor Party, and a member of their industrial committee. He is also a member of their Advisory Council.
Williamson is also a Trustee of First State Super and a Director of SGE Credit Union.[2]
