Microsoft Dynamics is a line of business software owned and developed by Microsoft, though the individual products were originally created by other companies and known by various other names. Dynamics was previously known by the codename "Project Green". It replaced Microsoft Business Solutions, the company's previous business software family.^{[citation needed]}
