Mike Kropveld

Michael Kropveld is Founder and Executive Director of Info-Cult / Info-Secte, an anti-cult organization based in Montreal, Canada, formed in 1980[1][2] after a friend became involved with the Unification Church and was subsequently kidnapped and deprogrammed[3]

Kropveld sits on the board of the International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA).[1]

Since the mid 1990s he has collaborated on the organizing of the ICSA annual international conferences on cultic phenomena.[1]

Among other publications he co-authored, in 2006, The Cult Phenomenon: How Groups Function / Le phénomène des sectes: L'étude du fonctionnement des groupes.[1]
