Mike Patranella

Mike Patranella (restaurateur) is the co-founder and vice president of Cotton Patch Café restaurants.

Career

Cotton Patch Café is an American restaurant chain specializing in casual dining with a menu that features steaks, burgers, pot roast, seafood, shrimp, chicken and a variety of grilled items. The company has thirty-seven locations across Texas and New Mexico.

Prior to developing the Cotton Patch Café concept in 1989, Mr. Patranella was a franchisee in the Pizza Hut system in Texas. It was during this tenure that he met Cotton Patch Café co-founder and president Larry Marshall (restaurateur). Today, both men operate numerous Pizza Hut restaurants, as well as 37 Cotton Patch Café locations.

Their original location is still in operation in Nacogdoches, Texas. Larry and Mike envisioned an inviting restaurant that focused on a simple core goal – serve delicious meals made from the finest produce and the highest-quality meats and seafood. They strive to over deliver on taste – providing a “value” you can taste in every meal.

Charitable Work

Both men actively support charities including the National MS Society and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children located in Dallas, TX.
