Mike Scott was bassist for melodic punk/hardcore band Phinius Gage from 2003-2007. He turned to acoustic music in 2007 when the band went on hiatus. His music, like much of the acoustic punk scene is based on liberal politics. He actively promotes animal rights[1] and is vegan.

Scott played his first solo show in 2007 and has since toured with Mike Park, Kevin Seconds, Kepi Ghoulie, Itch Fox from The King Blues, Bomb The Music Industry, Sundowner, Sam Russo and Kelly Kemp.[2]

Mike currently has 3 releases, including debut album 'Saturation Point' which came out in May 2011, and a split 7” single with Kevin Seconds.[3]
