Morningside, also known as Seven Oaks, is a neighbourhood of Scarborough, in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Morningside is bordered by Highway 401 to the North, Morningside Avenue to the East, West Highland Creek and Lawrence Avenue to the South and Scarborough Golf Club Road to the West.

[edit] Character

There is a combination of single detached homes, row houses and high rise buildings in the area. One example of this is Mornelle Court which is made up of apartment buildings. While the majority of people own houses, it is likely due to their relatively cheap price tag compared with the rest of the city.

[edit] Schools

Military Trail Public School, Brooks Road Public School and Highcastle PS serve the Public Elementary school system. Pope John Paul Secondary Catholic school and St. Edmund Campion serve the Catholic school system.
