The Minister for Sport and Tourism is a junior minister in the Department for Culture, Media and Sport of the United Kingdom government, with responsibility for sport and tourism in England.

The post is currently at Minister of State level after a government reshuffle having previously been at the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State level covering sport and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games. The position of Minister for Sport was previously at the more senior Minister of State level in the previous government, covering both the sport and tourism portfolios as Minister for Sport and Tourism. The sports minister has at various times previously reported to the Department of National Heritage, the Department of Education and Science and the Department of the Environment.

Sport is a devolved matter in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland resting with the corresponding ministers in the Scottish Executive and the Welsh Assembly Government, although when the Northern Ireland Assembly was suspended, responsibility went to the Northern Ireland Office.
