The Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China (Chinese: 中华人民共和国民政部) is a ministry under the jurisdiction of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, responsible for social and administrative affairs. It was founded in May 1978, and the current Minister is Li Xueju. Its precedent was the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
