The Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (MOE; Chinese: 中華民國教育部; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Mínguó Jiàoyùbù) is responsible for incorporating educational policies and managing public schools in the Republic of China. The ministry is a cabinet level governmental body of the Executive Yuan. The current minister is Dr. Chiang Wei-ling, Ph.D. The National Youth Commission and the Sports Affairs Council are now administered by the Ministry as the Youth Development Administration and the Sports Administration, respectively, as a result of the ongoing reorganization of the Executive Yuan.
