Mir (Urdu: مير) Hindi: मिर) is a tribe which has descended from Jammu and Kashmir. Mir is now a predominant tribe of North And central Punjab regions especially Lahore, Gujranwala and Gujrat regions of Punjab province of Pakistan where large majority lives and are known as Kashmiri Punjabis.
