The Miscarriage & Infant Loss Memorial Book, is a prayer request facility for those who have suffered the loss of a baby from conception to 3 years old. It is kept at the Church of St Paul the Apostle in Tintagel, Cornwall, United Kingdom where this book is placed on the altar at all masses.

[edit] History

The Miscarriage & Infant Loss Memorial Book was founded by Myke and Dr Miriam Rosenthal-English after the loss of their first baby "Ruth" aged 14 weeks due to miscarriage in 1995. Since then the Memorial Book project has grown from one which served the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth into one which serves people of all beliefs, worldwide.

The Miscarriage & Infant Loss Memorial Book can also be found online which is where 99% of entries into the book are initiated. Parents can decide whether they enter the names of their babies in the online version or just in the offline memorial book.
