Miss Elaine is an American manufacturer and retailer of women's nightwear. The company is famous for its extremely soft and sheer nightgown nylon fabric known as Silk Essence. The family-owned company, now in its third generation, was founded in 1926. They are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company's products are available in department and specialty stores with limited on-line availability. However, the company has just opened its first website which linked to an on-line store.
