Britain’s leading agency, Models 1, was established in 1964 in London, England. The agency originally started with only three models and progressed at a fast rate to become one of Europe’s leading agencies after discovering some of the world’s top supermodels such as Twiggy and Yasmin Le Bon.

Their women’s main board contains a huge number of top models including Alessandra Ambrosio, Amber Le Bon, Anais Pouliot, Ava Smith, Ben Grimes, Cameron Russell, Cecilia Chancellor, Coco Rocha, Hollie-May Saker, Jena Goldsack, Laura Love, Linda Evangelista, Magdalena Frackowiak, Margaux Brooke, Marte Vaan Haster, Sara Sampaio and Stephanie Hall.

Their special bookings division looks after some of the world's most famous talent including Alesha Dixon, Amber Valletta, Amy Jackson, Amy Willerton, Anne V, Aynzli Jones,D Dan Gillespie Sells, Diana Vickers, Ella Eyre, Jetta, Oliver Jackson Cohen, Olivia Palermo, Rick Edwards, Robert Pattinson, Ruth Crilly, Sophie Dahl and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Spring/Summer 2014 saw two big moments for the agency. The first came when Burberry used Neelam for their SS14 campaign, making her their first ever Indian model and defining an important moment in the fashion world. The second happened when Hollie-May Saker defended herself on the catwalk while being attacked by Femen protesters as a Nina Ricci show.

The men’s division is renowned for discovering some of the world’s top earning models, such as Will Chalker. The board currently has over 16 models in models.com’s top male models, including Francisco Lachowski, Florian Van Bael, Adrien Sahores and Miles McMillan.

In April 2014 Daphne Selfe was officially awarded the Guinness World Record for the world’s oldest super model.

The company is currently based in London, WC2B where the agency is directed by Kathy Pryor, Karen Diamond and John Horner.
