Monarch (Lay Your Jewelled Head Down) is a 1999 album by Feist. It was recorded in Toronto and mixed at Hamilton's Catherine North Studio. Sold primarily at shows, Monarch became an underground hit, even generating a music video from the single "It's Cool To Love Your Family", featuring a band composed of Canadian musicians including members of Royal City.
Despite the success of Feist's follow-up albums, Let It Die and The Reminder, the album remains out of print.
