Moonstone (formerly, Little River) is an unincorporated community in Humboldt County, California.[1] It is located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) southeast of Trinidad,[2] at an elevation of 121 feet (37 m).[1] For census purposes, it is aggregated in Westhaven-Moonstone, California. The area is sited adjacent to Pacific Ocean beach and the mouth of the Little River with views of the rugged coastline.
