Mower is a former settlement in Humboldt County, California.^[1] It was located 28 miles (45 km) northeast of Arcata.^[1]

A post office operated at Mower from 1884 to 1888.^[1] The name honors Lloyd W. Mower, its first postmaster.^[1]
