Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah (born in 6 June 1955) is the former Deputy Prime Minister [1] and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.[2] He is the son of the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah III Al-Salim Al-Sabah.
His elder brother is Sheikh Salem Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, former Defense and Interior minister. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and was a professor of Economics at Kuwait University between 1979 and 1985, before delegating to Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research from 1987 to 1988. In 1993, he was then appointed as an ambassador of Kuwait to the United States. He remained in this position until he was appointed State Minister for Foreign Affairs on February 14, 2001. On February 11, 2005, Sheikh Mohammed became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
