Muratlı is a village in the Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is situated at 37°02′N 34°59′E / 37.033°N 34.983°E in Çukurova (Cilicia of the antiquity) to the northeast of Tarsus and the junction of the motorways O-21 and O-52, and is slightly elevated with respect to the plains. It is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Tarsus and 41 kilometres (25 mi) from Mersin.[1] Its population as of 2019 was 176.[2] Its main economic activity is agriculture, grapes being its principal crop.
