The Muscular Salamander or Salamandra Escaladora (Pseudoeurycea papenfussi) is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family. It is endemic to Mexico.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and rocky areas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
