Jehovah's Witnesses have produced various publications intended especially for youths. Some of these include Bible stories presented in a simplified manner for young children to understand such as My Book of Bible Stories. Others provide advice relating to moral or doctrinal issues, such as the two-volume Young People Ask—Answers That Work.

[edit] Questions Young People Ask
In 1982 the series “Young People Ask . . .” began to appear in the Awake! magazine.[1] By 1989, many of the articles were gathered, updated, rewritten, and released as a book entitled Questions Young People Ask – Answers That Work. In 2008, the previous book was subtitled "Volume 1", and a second publication was released entitled Questions Young People Ask – Answers That Work, Volume 2. Either may be referred to as the Young People Ask book.
The series in Awake! magazine has continued with the same name: Young People Ask.
[edit] Learn from the Great Teacher
In 2003, the publication Learn from the Great Teacher was released as "a book that will help parents to spend spiritually rewarding time with their children".[2]
The 2003 Great Teacher book replaced the 1971 publication Listening to the Great Teacher, which had also been known as the Great Teacher book.[3]
[edit] The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived
In 1991, Jehovah's Witnesses released The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived, which "considers the life of Jesus in chronological order."[4] From the beginning, the Greatest Man book was recommended for family studies, and studies with children.[5]
The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived continues to be distributed, including as audio.
[edit] My Book of Bible Stories
My Book of Bible Stories, first published in 1978 by the Watch Tower Society is a collection of 116 Bible-based stories. The stories are grouped in eight parts in alleged chronological order. There are large illustrations throughout the book depicting the scenes of various Bible stories. At the end of each story are scriptural references to portions of the Bible from which the stories are taken. The book was revised in 2004 with minor changes, the most obvious being a new cover. Questions have been added at the back of the book for each story to stimulate a child's mind to picture the scenes described.
The Witnesses say that the book has been used by some schoolteachers as a textbook in some countries. They attribute this to children of Jehovah's Witnesses introducing the book to teachers.[6]

[edit] From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained
In 1958, the book From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained was released in part to meet missionary requests for a simple publication which did not introduce unscriptural teachings only to refute them.[7] It was immediately recommended for the "young".[8] By the 1960s, the book was the typical title used for Witness family study with children.[9] Between 1958 and 1980, Paradise Regained printings surpassed 15 million,[10] and it was distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses into the 1980s.[11]
