"My Neck, My Back (Lick It)" is a song written and recorded by American rapper Khia. It was released in April 2002 as the lead single from her debut album, Thug Misses. The song reached number 42 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.[3] It also reached the top five in the United Kingdom two years later[4] and the top fifteen in Australia.[5]

Content[edit]

The main poetry of the song is an encouragement of both cunnilingus and anilingus, and so it was heavily edited for public broadcast.[6] While the original version of the song contained explicit lyrics, a heavily edited version was used for radio broadcasting and the video.[7]

Music video[edit]

The video for the song, directed by Diane Martel, was released during the spring of 2002[8] and shows Khia at a barbecue. In the United Kingdom, a different video was used, which did not feature Khia herself, but instead a group of bikini-clad models washing a Hummer H2 in a sexual manner while lip-syncing the words of the song.

Remixes[edit]

The official remix, "My Neck, My Back (Lick It)" (Roc-A-Fella Remix), featuring rapper Memphis Bleek. The remix was released as an edited version.

Cover versions[edit]

In 2010, the song was covered by parody lounge artist Richard Cheese. In 2013, the song was covered and released as a single by Kelly Mantle.
