Národný bezpečnostný úrad (NBÚ, NBÚ SR) (National Security Bureau in English) is responsible for protection of confidential data, the introduction and use of the electronic signature and cipher service in the Slovak Republic. It is infamously known for being hacked into by a group of hackers who were then able to intercept the bureau's internal network. This incident resulted in a leak of about 36 000 email addresses and the publishing of passwords to the bureau's internal servers. One password, which gained immediate publicity, was "nbusr123". [1]
