NIMS University, Rangapur

NIMS University or Bibinagar bhongir NIMS is an Indian medical college and a super-specialty hospital located at Rangapur in Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh.[1][2] It is built to serve people of Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak and Mahbubnagar.

History[edit]

NIMS University was inaugurated in February 2009 and the hospital is expected to be inaugurated in 2011.

Campus[edit]

The medical college campus is located on 184 acres. It has an outpatient ward and a super-specialty hospital is being built on the campus.

The Institute of Translational Research (ITR) is setting up a research center with a capital of 1000 crores.[3]

Super-specialty hospital[edit]

The super-specialty hospital is expected to be completed with a budget of 210 crores.
