NIMS University, Rangapur

NIMS University or Bibinagar bhongir NIMS is an Indian medical college and a super-specialty hospital located at Rangapur in Nalgonda district in Telangana.[1][2] It is built to serve people of Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak and Mahbubnagar.


NIMS University was inaugurated in February 2009 and the hospital is expected to be inaugurated in 2011.


The medical college campus is located on 184 acres. It has an outpatient ward and a super-specialty hospital is being built on the campus.

The Institute of Translational Research (ITR) is setting up a research center with a capital of 1000 crores.[3]

Super-specialty hospital[edit]

The super-specialty hospital is expected to be completed with a budget of 210 crores.
