NOW Peterborough

NOW Peterborough is a local commercial digital radio multiplex in the United Kingdom, which serves Peterborough and the surrounding area. NOW Peterborough is transmitted on frequency block 12D (229.072 MHz) from transmitters at Huntingdon (Hitchingbrooke Hospital), Peterborough and Stamford. It launched in November 2002 and is operated by NOW Digital who are owned by Arqiva. NOW Digital were awarded the licence on 9 November 2001, with broadcasts expecting to commence in August 2002. There was only one application for the licence (closing date 11 September 2001). There were possibilities of further transmitters at Holbeach and St Neots.
