[edit] History

Nadie was formed in April 1994 with bass, drums and two guitars and mixing music styles like hardcore, punk and ska.

In 1995, the band changed the type of music it played, so their new songs sounded stronger and more strident, getting closer to hardcore punk.

In 1996, the band recorded its first album, Nadie ("No-one"), which contains 16 tracks. The album was released and distributed in Medellín, Manizales, Cali and Bogotá. The same year the band performed with popular Colombian bands Cuidado con la begonias, 1%, Birra, I.R.A., Neus, Censura, Contraorden, Danny Dodge, and Angeles con la cara sucia.

In 1999 the second guitarist and the drummer left the band and the remaining members took to take a break. A year later, Julián Velásquez restarted the band. In 2000, with Juan David Márquez and Juan Felipe Correa, the new drummer, the band began to compose the second album: Carne trémula ("Tremulous Flesh"). This album is closer to rock and roll and uses saxophone in some of its 10 tracks but keeps the strength that has always distinguished the band. This album was recorded at the end of 2001 in Siamesis Audio Studio by Julián Velazquez, and it was released at the beginning of 2002. Following this launch, the band shot videos for the songs: Carne trémula and Emilio dice ("Emilio says").

In 2004, the band released Me sabe a sangre el corazón (“My heart tastes like blood”), a single with five tracks produced by the band.

Then in 2006 it released the album Verdades y Mentiras(“Truth and Lies”) and a best hits compilation called Los Mejores Ruidos de Los Nadie (“The Best Noises of No-one”). After the release of these two albums Julián moved to Bogotá and recruited Alex Álvarez to play drums, who was later replaced by Alejo Duque, and after dealing a few disappointments with some bassists, in 2007 he recruited Alejo Klauun.

The band is playing shows in Colombia's main cities and a few shows in Ecuador, and is composing and recording the songs for its fourth album.
