Nāḥiyah (Arabic: ناحية[ˈnæːħijæ]; pl. Nawāḥī نواحي [næˈwæːħiː]) is a name for a third-level administrative unit in Syria and Iraq, and for lower levels in Lebanon, Jordan, and the former Ottoman Empire. In Tajikistan it is on the 2nd level.

A Nahiyah contains a number of villages and sometimes smaller towns. It constitutes a division of a qadaa or mintaqah (district). Nahiya can be translated as subdistrict.
