[edit] Local attractions

Samsan-dong: This is an affluent portion of the city and has many positive attributes. There are twelve scenic areas that are close to Ulsan and are advertised throughout the city. There is a tour bus leaving each day that will take a person to some of these sites for a fee.

Shinay, meaning "old town", is a nice place to shop for many western style items. Cinemas, McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts are a popular place and there are plenty of side streets and alleys to purchase clothes and other items.

The night life has many offerings. The Benchwarmers Bar and Grill caters to tourists. Near the Lotte Hotel is a newly opened Krispy Kreme doughnut place, close to Kim's English Book store on the 5th floor.
