The nasal cartilages are structures in the nose that provide form and support.[1]
They include:
- Septal nasal cartilage[2]
- Lateral nasal cartilage (upper lateral cartilage)[3]
- Major alar cartilage (greater alar cartilage, or cartilage of the aperture) [4]
- Minor alar cartilage (lesser alar cartilage, sesamoid, or accessory cartilage)[5]
- Vomeronasal cartilage (Jacobson's cartilage)[6]
