[edit] Career

As a solo artist, between 2003 and 2004 Nasri achieved great radio and video success in Canada, with singles "Go" and "Over N' Done With". Around that time he also co-wrote the winning RnB song in the 2002 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and was nominated for a 2003 Canadian Independent Music Award. In 2007, his song "Click Click Click" helped drive the reunion of the New Kids On The Block, being the group's first recorded song toward their album The Block.

In recent years, his partnership with fellow Canadian producer/musician Adam Messinger has functioned as a writing and production team, now known as "The Messengers". The duo have written and produced for such artists as Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, J. Lewis, Big Time Rush, Michael Bolton, JoJo, Vanessa Hudgens, No Angels, Lolene, Iyaz and the New Kids On The Block.[2]

As a songwriter in his own right, Nasri has also written for major label artists such as Cody Simpson, Cheryl Cole, Boyzone, Kat Deluna, Elliott Yamin, Jay Sean, Jason Derulo, and Akon, and collaborated with Grammy award winning songwriters/producers, such as Babyface, RedOne, Walter Afanasieff, Jorgen Elofsson, Dan Hill, Andreas Carlsson and Tricky Stewart.
